Rm 5 - Mrs Fearon

Phew! What a busy start to the year!

Room 5 have been working hard on discussing our class culture. We discussed what was important to us and these five ideas came up
as the most important in room 5.

Being kind to each other.
Being loyal.
Helping each other
Learning
Respect

We have discussed what each of these words mean to us and posters can be seen on display in class.

We have also talked about what makes us unique and what our class rules should be. We each made a shield to keep on our desk to remind us of the rules. The children expect the teacher to:

Have high expectations of us
Help if we get stuck
Encourage us to practice
Allow breaks
Be firm but fair
and
Let us have an end of term special day.

I think I can manage that!

BANANA SURGERY!

We have also been talking about how some things are harder to break up that put back together, eg our friendships, trust, reputation and bananas! Check out these poor bananas that had surgery performed on them.
